Sponsoring Agencies

This page provides information to organizations who pay training fees for students in Boston Reed College programs. Whether you represent the Workforce Investment Act, CalWORKS, or public/private rehabilitation, we are dedicated to clearly and effectively doing business together.

Before Enrolling a Client

  1. Review the Sponsored Student Process Chart. It outlines the responsibilities of students, sponsors and Boston Reed College.

  2. Review the information below and all the program information prior to enrolling a client. Call 800-201-1141 to request a program catalog or to speak with a representative. You can also listen to recorded program information 24 hours a day.

Enrolling a Client

Classes fill up quickly so enroll early.

  1. If paying by credit card, click Enroll Now to enroll your client online. Otherwise have your client fill out an Enrollment Agreement and return it to our Napa office.

  2. Have your client provide a sponsor authorization letter to our Napa office that includes counselor contact information, billing instructions, and any other information we need to communicate with you and your office.

Once enrolled, your client will receive a letter by mail confirming their enrollment or their addition to a waiting list. Students on a waiting list are required to attend the first class meeting or forfeit his or her seat in the class. Many times, students on the "waiting list" get to remain in the class due to no-shows or drops.

Student Progress

The counselor identified in the sponsor authorization letter will receive monthly reports on the student's progress. The progress report will include student attendance, grades and information regarding overall attitude and performance.

If you do not receive monthly progress reports, call 800-201-1141 to speak with a program manager. If you need additional assistance, email Dana Bernard (President, Boston Reed College) or call her directly at 800-201-1141 ext. 5018.

Students are also required to deliver all prerequisite documents to our office prior to externship placement. Although we make every effort to place sponsored students at the top of the list for externship placement, we cannot begin the placement process without the students' required CPR card, physical examination, TB test, resume and externship questionnaire on file. For more information on exterships view All About Externships.

Certification

Students receive their Certificate of Completion upon passing the classroom portion of the program and delivering their externship booklet to us. If you require proof of a student's completion in a program, submit a Document Request Form to the Student Records Department by mail or fax.
